Hey, Ole Miss students!
Taking your dog for a walk, having coffee with a friend or writing in your journal – these are things that you might already do on a regular basis that could help you win scholarships, athletics tickets and gift cards as part of the Chancellor’s Wellness Challenge.
I believe strongly that any kind of success depends on maintaining your mental and physical wellbeing. In my family, we love getting outdoors and playing a competitive game of pickleball or tennis to keep ourselves active and engaged.
As we enter the final week of the Chancellor’s Wellness Challenge and with finals right around the corner, we want to help you take care of yourself by rewarding you for self-care and attending events like Stress Less Grove Fest and Wellness Wednesday. See more about how you can be part of the Chancellor’s Wellness Challenge here.
In addition to the prizes already mentioned, the first ten students who respond to this email with confirmation that they’ve signed up for the Chancellor’s Wellness Challenge on the GooseChase app will get a free Ole Miss hammock and t-shirt! Reply with your name and a screenshot of your signup confirmation.
Beyond participating in the Challenge, I hope you will make time for things that support your wellbeing, especially over the next few weeks. If you find that you need help with studying or caring for your mental health, please reach out to a faculty member, an academic advisor or a staff member at the University Counseling Center. We’re here to help you succeed academically and personally.
Best of luck with finals, and Hotty Toddy!
